Hi everyone,
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last few months:
🐕 Robots on the Rocks, Oct 8
Formic hosted it at their Emeryville space during SF Tech Week, with Lorimer Ventures, Improbability VC and Blackhorn Ventures. Zach and I spent three hours on the floor with two quadrupeds, one on legs and one on wheels, with Gatlin OS up on a big screen behind them.
Most of the night's conversations landed on one question: what does a quadruped actually do on a Tuesday night? Our answer is patrol and inspection. Thank you so much to Formic for having us, and to everyone who came by!

🍸 Robots After Hours, Thursday Oct 15
We're co-hosting Robots After Hours with Knoxlabs during LA Tech Week: Thursday Oct 15, 7 to 11:30pm, in Santa Monica. No talks, no agenda. Our robots walk the room all night on Gatlin OS, and Zach and I will be there to answer questions.

Spots are limited, so request yours on Luma. We'd love to see you there.
🔧 Our quadruped kit is open for pre-order
Our lead product is a customization kit for quadrupeds. It fits onto supported robots and puts them on Gatlin OS, our operating system for robot fleets. It can support quadrupeds from Unitree and Faraday Future. You can pre-order now at gatlinrobotics.com/products.
The kit is built for night patrol and inspection: walk a route after hours and flag what's wrong, like a door left open or a missing fire extinguisher, each finding with a photo and a timestamp. With 24/7 Support, if a robot hits something it can't handle, our team can step in remotely and take control.
Why quadrupeds first? Patrol is a much easier first job to prove than work with hands. Gatlin-Heavy, our robot with hands for trash pickup and room reset, comes after the kit.
🏭 We joined Faraday Future's open platform
On Sept 18, Faraday Future approved Gatlin as a developer on its Robotics Open Platform. Ten days later FF launched the platform at its "Built in USA" partner conference in El Segundo, and I got to explain what we're building in their launch film. My part starts at 37:55: watch it here.
🎉 Two rooms in September
On Sept 3 we hosted the Gatlin x Reitler Law Happy Hour in New York. Thank you to everyone who came out, and to everyone who introduced us to someone new that night! Twelve days later I pitched at the Physical AI Pitch Night at Beckhoff in El Segundo.

📰 In case you missed it
Zach sat down with Knoxlabs to talk about why commercial buildings are a good first test for physical AI, and why the dataset is the real code: read the interview. His Automate 2026 talk covers how we turn ordinary video of a building into a 3D copy a robot can train in: watch the talk.
🚀 How you can help
We sell to facility services companies, the teams that already hold the contract to keep a building running. Know someone running security, patrol, or cleaning for offices or hotels? Reply and I'll take it from there.
Know someone who'd like this? Forward it along, or send them to grid.gatlinrobotics.com to subscribe.
Thanks for reading!
Best,
Isaac
